Compass Investors, LLC is not an investment or brokerage firm. Compass Investors, LLC does not provide me with any advice, explanation, opinion or recommendation about any investment strategies as applied to my particular situation.
Compass Investors, LLC does not act as an investment advisor or advocate the purchase or sale of any security or investment. Investment decisions should be made only after consulting with your investment advisor.
I am aware that investment markets have inherent risks and there can be no guarantee of future profits. Likewise, past performance does not assure future results. The possibility exists that I could sustain a loss of some or all of my initial investment and therefore I will not invest money that I cannot afford to lose.
When becoming a subscriber to any Compass Investors, LLC service, I acknowledge I and not Compass Investors, LLC am solely responsible for any losses, fees or penalties, financial or otherwise, as a result of using the service. Compass Investors, LLC shall under no circumstances be liable for any lost profits, lost opportunities, misstatements, or errors contained within any communication. I also agree that Compass Investors, LLC will not be held liable for data accuracy, server problems, or any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, any or all of the materials published on our Website. I agree to hold Compass Investors, LLC harmless for any act resulting directly or indirectly from this site, its data, content, materials, associated pages and documents.
Compass Investors, LLC is not acting as my financial planner in any matter. Rather, I am representing myself and take full responsibility for any investments I make in response to the information presented directly or indirectly by Compass Investors, LLC in any form.
The services of Compass Investors, LLC are but one tool to be used in my investment planning, but it is not a substitute for my own informed judgment. I am solely responsible for my own investment decisions; I may accept, reject or modify the analysis of the mutual funds the Horizon service will provide. I am responsible for reviewing my account periodically to monitor changes in the market and the value of my investments and to implement any actions I deem appropriate.
The information provided by
Compass Investors, LLC is for my personal use only. I agree to keep such
information from becoming known to or discussing with any other person
in any manner either directly or indirectly. Unauthorized use of your
User Name and Password by anyone other than you or providing any
information about the information published in any Compass Investors
Horizon™ Action Report to anyone in any form whatsoever is strictly
prohibited.
Any violation of the preceding, determined in cooperation with your
Plan Administrator under the Freedom of Information Act of 2000, or by
any other means, is subject to (1) immediate cancellation of your
subscription and forfeiture of your subscription fees, and (2)
prosecution for criminal damages of not less than US$18,000 and punitive
damages of not less than US$1,000,000, or as determined by judicial
proceedings to take place in the City of Chicago, Illinois, USA, as well
as (3) possible discontinuation of the Horizon service for the entire
company/retirement plan.
Compass Investors, LLC may cancel my membership at any time and for any reason so long as I am informed prior to such action. As long as I am not in violation of any the Terms of Use or User Agreement and Disclaimer any money due to me as per the stated Compass Investors, LLC Subscription Refund Guarantee policy in effect and if applicable at the time of my initial subscription will be refunded in full.
If eligible for the Subscription Refund Guarantee, requests for refund must be made in writing or via an email sent to [email protected] anytime following the triggering of the guarantee, typically by having the reported performance of Horizon fall and remain below BOTH of its stated benchmark(s). Full refunds will be made via a credit to the PayPal account most recently used for renewal. Note that PayPal (not Compass Investors, LLC) will charge a transaction and/or other processing fee which will reduce the amount of the refund and which is not refundable.
If I charge my subscription to a credit card using PayPal (the Compass Investors billing agent) it will be established with automatic renewal according to the subscription options that I select. You will receive notification from PayPal once an automatic payment has been completed. If you decide not to continue your subscription, you can contact Compass Investors and request a refund anytime within 30-days of that payment. All refunds will be made to your PayPal account. Prorated refunds will NOT be made for cancellation requests made after 30-days of payment. PayPal fees, if any, are not refundable.
Although I may reside elsewhere, all services are, and shall be deemed to be, performed entirely within the state of Nevada, that Nevada law shall govern any disputes arising from my use of this website and its contents, that the courts of the state of Nevada shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from my use of this website.
All questions, rights or controversies arising out of or relating to the services rendered shall be settled through binding arbitration under the provisions of the Nevada Uniform Arbitration Act.
I have read the full User Agreement and Disclaimer document before making any investments and agree to be solely responsible for the results obtained. I will hold Compass Investors, LLC and its agents harmless. If there is liability found on the part of Compass Investors, LLC, it will be limited to the amount paid for services, and under no circumstances will there be consequential or punitive damages.
Compass Investors, LLC does not and cannot guarantee the future performance of my account, or that the Horizon Model Portfolio will be profitable.
Compass Investors, LLC is not an investment or brokerage firm and may not perform services performed by such firm. No governmental or quasi-governmental authority has evaluated or approved Compass Investors, LLC's knowledge or experience, or the quality of our services. You may obtain information regarding investment advice through state and federal associations, and you may also contact them if you believe that you have been a victim of fraud, or any other injury.
