(Performance Guarantee #1) Plan Index
(PI). The return from an equal distribution of dollars,
reallocated each Action Report period, into each of the funds
contained in the Retirement Plan. The Plan Index is essentially
the average return
for the Retirement Plan.

(Performance Guarantee #2)
Formulaic Asset Allocation (FAA).
If your plan includes a Formulaic Asset Allocation (FAA) fund
(e.g., Life Style, Life Cycle, Life Stage, Balanced, Target Date
Retirement, Balanced, etc.) then the performance of the domestic FAA fund in your
Plan that had the best return during the year prior to the start of each
guarantee period. Otherwise, the performance of an 70/30
Equity/Fixed Income mix of the best performing funds in your Plan
over the last 12 months at the start of each
guarantee period.
